Who is that masked man?

Be sure to do some Googling today–if only to see the tribute to Will Eisner, the cartoonist and graphic-art pioneer. On Google’s blog, comics artist Scott McCloud talks about the ways that Eisner pushed the art form forward, promoting it as distinct literary genre of its own. Learn more at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art, in SoHo, which just opened an exhibition exploring ways Eisner’s art was inspired by–and  showcased–his hometown of New York. Also on view is a spectrum of work by cartoonists across seven decades to show just how influential Eisner was. Every picture tells a story, don’t it?
